Monday Night Football Non-Prediction: Cleveland Browns (at) Buffalo Bills.

Anyone who knows me, or reads this blog knows I’m a Buffalo Bills fan, and that’s rooted in being from New York, so as a fan that allows me to predict. Or, y’know, allow me to wring my hands together in nervous anticipation and say all kinds of colorful things to Cleveland people. So, my [...]

Yankee Stadium: The End.

Tonight, those who are not among the reported 74,000 at Yankee Stadium, (though that is a statistical inaccuracy given the number of seats in the stadium) are probably writing about their life experiences with the Stadium. I’m not a fan of shouting into the wind with my poor English when there are a number of [...]

Spoken like a true amateur.

I’m kind of a football vagabond. Hopping from one train to the next, whatever port I’m at–I’m for that team, and that is definitely the case here. If you walked up to me in the street at any given moment today and asked who my football team was I would say I’m a Buffalo Bills [...]

The Last Days of Yankee Stadium

This is that new stadium they’re building across the street. I was reading Laura Hudson’s fantastic six page behemoth interview with Matt Fraction in the new Comic Foundry issue, (which you should buy immediately. If for no other reason than the fantastic drinking game they setup around All Star Batman). In the interview, [...]

Play ball!

Or not.
You have no idea how fired up I am for baseball. Its probably time for my season beginning evaluation of the Yankees.
Nothing has changed. They still have a shit show in the bullpen, an aging former ace, and not a single dynamite lights out pitching prospect, but they do have three of the youngest [...]

Twittering the Super Bowl.

17:40 Some Guitar Hero before super bowl. Awesome. #
19:05 Wow I am so happy that the Terminator took down that stupid football robot. #
19:22 And the real Eli Manning returns. #
19:46 I’m sick-I thought the rat beating the shit out of the guy was hilarious in that Doritoes commercial. #
19:58 Wow 7-3. Not the [...]

The Bills make mistakes on the lake.

Weirdly enough, I woke this morning not unlike Wil, which means ridiculously early and my brain wouldn’t stop turning. Considering my whole day yesterday was spent in seasonal depression syndrome over the Bills loss.
So by losing in deplorable playing conditions, the Buffalo Bills were eliminated from playoff contention by Cleveland “The Mistake on the Lake” [...]

Live Blogging: New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills

I became motivated by Wil Wheaton who has been live blogging the release of the hardcover of his latest book, The Happiest Days Of Our Lives today. So, I’ve decided that I’m going to do the same with the penultimate game now for the Buffalo Bills. The Bills have come back starting the season [...]

The Sports Night From Hell: 2007 Edition

The entire nation just witnessed what its like to be a Buffalo fan, and Joe Torre’s possibly (probably) last game as Yankees manager. Bridget, Nick and I passed our sorrows around in the form of a pipe while sitting on the fire escape that dangles off our apartment and over first avenue with Joe [...]

Those Games You Play With a Ball.

I haven’t blogged a thing in quite a few days, because well, there has not been a lot to talk about that’s new or different. Besides the hateful filled week at work this week. I worked three ten hours days and one day over twelve hours. Which made Friday even more annoying when people [...]
