Brian K. Vaughan is going to shut down his message board.
I cannot say how depressing this prospect is. For alot of us, the Cabal was the first place we connected to the vast comics interwebs. Vaughan welcomed us in with rules of civility towards creators and their work and a rule that was original for alot of comic message boards: you weren’t allowed to bad mouth other’s work, and could only write about what you did like. It was also a board of highly bright and creative people who were all civil to each other, and hilariously creative. I mean the NNNN thread and the Sex Thread. As well as fond memories of the iPod War thread, that would keep me entertained during those long graveyard shift hours.
In the mean time, Cabal members NothingFace and Michael Heide have started their own message board to keep Caballeros together, when Vaughan’s board does go down.
This is probably the geekiest thing I’ve ever posted.

Yea, I saw that. Bummer.
He seems like he’s distancing himself from everything. He’s never really liked people swooning over him, I don’t think. But hey, at least we met some people there.
You should check out Bendis Boards. They’re pretty alright.
